MOTHER'S DAY - A DAY IN MOTHER'S SHOES

MOTHERS DAY - MOTHER HOLDING HER BABY

ESPECIALLY FOR THE MOTHERS OUT THERE

'Archana, where are my socks?'
'It is kept where they are supposed to be, Sudip' a voice came from the kitchen.
'i can't find it archana, please come for a sec na'
'are, okay wait Coming' archana said.
'Coming, just a sec sudip', a voice came again from the kitchen.
(She came out from the kitchen with two cups of tea for dada And Dadi and gave it to them. And then she advances to the closet.)
'It must be there, Sudip, wait let me search'
(Looks for the socks kept right beside the clothes. Hands over the socks to Sudip)
'You don't find anything, sudip.  It's just right here'.
' You can do that for me anyway ', sudip chuckled.
Archana smiled and went to the other room to wake chintu up for school.'

'chintu, oh chintu, it's already 9:30. Wake up, or you'll miss the school bus again'
'um, 10 more minutes, please mom, please!'
(She goes back to the kitchen to pack Sudip's and chintu's lunch box. And hands it over to Sudip)
*After 2 minutes*
'chintu, come on, it's already 10 minutes, wake up or else you'll be late for your school'
(Chintu wakes up, archana irons his clothes, feeds him breakfast and give him his lunch box. It's 10:10, only 5 minutes left for the school bus to arrive)
'mom, let's go, we'll be late!' said Chitwan.
'coming, just a minute chintu!'
(Archana comes after serving breakfasts to dada and Dadi.)
'Mom, how do you manage to wake up so early, do all these work and still not get tired?' said chitwan, at their way to the bus stop.
'Just because I got a good boy like you, I can do all those things' archana said, planting a kiss on his forehead.

(School bus arrived)
'bye maa!'
'bye chintu, take care. And eat your tiffin on time'
Said Archana and came back home to find out that the maid has fallen sick and won't be coming for 3 days.
She did all the household works from washing dishes to dusting furnitures. Just when she finished doing all of this, she noticed it's already time for chintu to come back.
She went to pick him from the bus stop. Where he gave his bagpack to her pretending like he came back home after doing a very tedious job at school.
After his lunch, checking all his school workbooks and getting him to sleep was one of the toughest job for her.
But even harder was to get him to study.
But chitwan was a studious kid once he was able to concentrate.
And that was a really tough time for archana bcz the fact that she had all the answers of chitwan's questions used to fantasize him. He went on asking, till he got a satisfactory answer.
'Mommy, you are a fairy,' Chitwan said.
She laughed like tinkling bells, running her fingers through his hair.
'I am serious, Mom. You know everything.” he looked really serious and surprised.
'Chintu, When you'll grow up, even you'll know everything. You won't need me then'.
'No, Mom, I will always need you. Nothing can change that', he replied back, innocently wrapping himself into his mother's arms.

'Chitwan, chitwan! Are you there?' A voice came from the other room.
