FRIENDSHIP- MEANING AND QUOTES

FRIENDSHIP -

"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed"

FRIENDSHIP MEANING AND QUOTES

Friends are an important part of most of our lives. They help us grow through each year of our lives. Friends help us deal with stress, make better lifestyle choices that keep us strong, and allow us to rebound from health issues and disease more quickly.

But apart from all these technicalities, what does friendship really mean?
Personally, after keen observation and long strings of thoughts, I came to the conclusion that :

• Friendship means being there just to be there.
• Friendship means listening and not asking questions.
• Friendship means lending your shoulder for someone to cry on.
• Friendship means being comfortable around each other in silence.
• Friendship means being able to tell each other anything and understanding without questions.
• Friendship means being honest with each other no matter what the cost is.
• Friendship means staying up all night and talking about nothing.
• Friendship means being able to say I love you!
• Friendship means forgiving each other no matter what you have done.
• Friendship means learning from each other's mistakes.

Friends can change our value system so we learn to inject more meaning into our lives. In spending time with friends, we fill up our lives with great conversation, heartfelt caring and support, and laugh out loud fun. When we fall on hard times, friends are there to put things in perspective and help us. When we have success, they’re smiling at our good fortune. With down-to-earth, positive people in our life we will be more mindful of gratitude and doing nice things for others. We don’t just live when we have healthy friendships, we thrive. These people help push us out of our comfort zones while still providing a safe emotional space for us to be totally ourselves.

FRIENDSHIP MEANING AND QUOTES

Friendship is key to our success with all our relationships and it can create a sense of purpose in our lives. I used to think friendship was sleepovers and playdates. Now I Know it's not. Friendship is 3 AM in the morning, talks about what happened the day before and why you're still awake. Friendship is 3 PM in the afternoon laughing so hard on the floor at a corny joke for the third time that day. Friendship is sitting there in silence because you would rather eat then talk (and they would do too) . Friendship is love in the strangest ways when all else is lost.

So, keep in mind, it's precious.
Hold on to your old friends while making new ones because it is one of the blessings of the old friend that you can  afford to be stupid with them. See you all in the next post :)
